FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL

Lara R. Milavickas, Founder and Principal of Milavickas Consulting, LLC has spent her career strategically positioning and growing billion-dollar companies and small business.  For more than two decades she has supported firms in the Washington, DC metropolitan area by generating significant revenue streams, building reliable and scalable infrastructures, establishing and advancing partnerships, and devising successful strategies to win business. 

After relocating to the Tampa Bay area, in 2015 she launched Milavickas Consulting, LLC. She hopes to bridge the two metropolitan areas by leveraging her networks spanning both regions – and relationships across numerous U.S. metropolitan areas and regions – to deliver exceptional services.

Highlights of her experience and results include:

• Led and planned a new public sector market entry strategy, created strategic business plans, built pipeline, managed sales cycle, and directed resources. Closed more than $20M in new contracts and increased the average project size sold by at least 350%.
• Transformed two different organizations pursuit of new business in less than six months by training teams and instituting Shipley-based capture methods leading to building a pipeline worth tens of millions of dollars and minimally tripling the number of bids.
• Spearheaded numerous competitive pricing assessments, analyzed prices and costs, advised on budgeting projects, and negotiating contracts.
• Led the production of more than $60M in bids by hiring and training staff, forming procedures, directing proposal creation, and overseeing all proposal development for a small business.
• Supervised and recruited multiple technical delivery teams of up to 40 PMs and IT professionals and effectively organized, motivated, and managed resources for a large company that was just entering the project-based market.
